Privacy policy

Effective October 19, 2026. EtchTin is operated by Shapspace LLC. This policy covers the site, the studio, checkout, and the waitlist.

Shapspace LLC, 605 West 9th Street #1068, Austin, TX 78701, United States. Questions: admin@shapspace.com. https://shapspace.com.

What we store

An order stores your name, email, the tin you chose, and the engraving artwork so it can be cut. A waitlist signup stores the email address and which form you used. Payment card numbers are handled by Stripe when checkout is connected. Demo checkout stores the order and does not charge a card.

Artwork is kept with the order so the lid can be engraved. It is not sent to advertising tags.

Cookies and advertising pixels

The site can load a Meta Pixel and a Google tag (gtag) for advertising measurement. Both stay off unless the matching id is configured for the deployment. With those ids blank, the pages do not request Meta or Google tag scripts.

When the ids are set, the tags may set cookies and report these events: PageView on each page, Lead when a waitlist signup is accepted, InitiateCheckout (value and currency) when checkout starts, and Purchase (value and currency) on the success page. A purchase is sent once per order or checkout session id. If a server token is also configured, the same id is sent from the Stripe webhook through Meta's Conversions API so the browser event and the server event count as one purchase.

You can limit ad cookies in your browser, and in the ad settings those companies publish: Facebook ad settings, Google ads settings, and aboutads.info.

Who else sees it

Stripe processes payment when a live or test key is set. The host (Vercel) serves the site and stores order, design, and waitlist documents. Advertising platforms named above receive the events only when their ids are configured. We do not sell the waitlist.
